Feature
Adaptive puzzle trainer from 400,000 Lichess positions
Generic puzzle sites give you random positions. Audit Chess matches puzzles to your current rating using a live Elo system across 400,000 Lichess positions, so every puzzle is calibrated to the exact edge of your ability. Puzzles For You picks the mode — opening lines from your own repertoire, sharp middlegame tactics, or precise endgame technique — and adapts difficulty as you solve. Custom Mix lets you filter by any tactical theme (fork, pin, sacrifice, back-rank mate and dozens more) or specific opening, then builds a session around exactly that. Both modes track a persistent puzzle rating that moves after every puzzle, so difficulty stays right at your level across sessions. Free, no account, runs in your browser.
Puzzles For You: opening, middlegame, endgame modes
Choose the phase you want to train. Opening mode serves positions from the exact lines you play. Middlegame mode focuses on tactical patterns — forks, pins, skewers, sacrifices and more. Endgame mode drills rook, pawn, queen and knight endings. Your rating adapts within each session.
Custom Mix: filter by theme or opening
Pick any combination of tactical themes (50+ options across patterns, mate types, special moves and game length) and/or specific openings. Audit Chess builds a session from puzzles that match all your filters and adapts difficulty to your puzzle rating.
