What a game review shows you
A game review replays your game with the engine and turns it into something you can read at a glance. Three things do the work: an accuracy score that says how close your moves were to best, an evaluation graph that shows where the game swung, and a move-by-move label on every move so you can jump straight to the ones that mattered.
Open any flagged move and the board puts what you played next to the move the engine preferred, so you are not just told “blunder” - you see the better move and the line behind it. That is the difference between a score and an actual review.
The move labels explained
Every move gets one of these, decided by how much it changed your winning chances - not by a raw pawn count - so the labels track the moves that actually swung the game:
Best
The strongest move in the position - you found what the engine would play.
Good
Not the top choice, but it holds your evaluation. Perfectly fine chess.
Inaccuracy
A small slip that hands back some of your advantage - worth understanding, rarely fatal.
Mistake
A real error: your winning chances dropped meaningfully. This is where games turn.
Blunder
A move that changed the result - winning to equal, or equal to losing. The one to study.

What does the game review show me?+
For each game you get an accuracy score, an evaluation graph across the whole game, and every move labelled Best, Good, Inaccuracy, Mistake or Blunder based on how much it changed your winning chances. Open any labelled move and the board shows what you played next to the move the engine preferred.
How are the move labels decided?+
By the swing in win probability the move caused, not a raw pawn count - so a move that drops you from clearly winning to equal is flagged as a mistake even if the engine number moves only a little, and a forced-looking recapture is not punished. That keeps the review focused on the moves that actually changed the game.
Can I review my Chess.com or Lichess games?+
Both. Enter your username and Audit Chess reads your public games straight from the Chess.com and Lichess APIs - no export, no login. Or paste a single PGN to review just that game. Nothing is uploaded; the analysis runs in your browser.
How is this different from analyzing all my games?+
Game review is per game: it walks one game move by move. The whole-history analyzer zooms out and finds the patterns across hundreds of games - which openings cost you rating, which mistakes you repeat, the wins you throw away. Most improving players use both: review to understand a loss, history to decide what to train.
